>if you look at the panel again, I think it's actually a lettering error, with the wrong balloons pointing to the wrong characters

>You think? So you reckon its Dredd, Fargo, Rico rather than Fargo, Dredd, Rico? No I can't see it and if that is the case then it's the artist's fault for not putting any space for the speech bubble.

I saw it as a lettering problem too because the older more weathered looking Fargo is to the right of Dredd. Also Rico's eyeline in that frame is directed towards the middle character, Fargo.

They do change position in the next frame though.

One of the interesting things about the Knights of God was that it had an almost V for Vendetta feel about it. Not exactly futuristic, fascism & English concentration camps.

It was more medieval in many ways.

William Hurt's buffonish criminal was ridiculous though, he's supposed to be a feared criminal, completely incongruent.

Judge Dredd Megazine is a dandy name in my opinion better than Judge Dredd monthly.

>It may sound a bit fan-ish, but some small in-depth articles about Judge Dredd, life in the city, how the judges work etc. might be interetsing for some people. If you could get wagner involved to say what's official and what isn't, it would have some sort of authority. E.g. do a 2 page article on the Judda, ask Wagner to fill in the gaps (He'd probably hate doing this, but it's an idea) and lace it with some lovely artwork and choice amusing/exciting panels. There's lots of scope, city blocks, the under city, the Cursed Earth. Eventually it could be collected as a book.

Yeah, but a project like that could be done in a few months, what about the rest of the time?

Something like that needs to be backed up with stories & I wouldn't see a problem with that. Even one-off cursed earth stories can be limitless. I just don't want to see reprints like Hellboy etc. anymore. Small press is welcome and enjoyed.

Stuff like Black Siddah may as well be in 2000AD and would work better, there are plenty of less worthy strips popping up in tooth these days.

>With regard to Dreddworld stuff I think the less there is of it the better.

Why call it the Judge Dredd megazine then?
