Film & TV / Re: Paramount Plus To Launch in UK.

I think I'm very much at subscription saturation point.  And even without that, Paramount + line up looks fairly thin gruel

Enjoyed the bits I saw today.

You'll never top an in person con, but rheres lots.to like about a format where you can watch on your own telly at home (or phone when you're waiting to drive your kids around for the whole weekend).  And being able to watch later is a winner too.

Did miss a bar though.

Like Tom Baker is my Doctor Who, Goodman is my Chief Judge

You never forget your first.

General / Re: Sideshow Vote: Halo Jones vs The Out

The Out for me.  It's been the most surprising, unpredictable thrill in a long time.  It can, and does go anywhere.  It's grown in scope and scale every week.

Only Book 3 of Halo was a true classic for me (Gibson's art was never better) but it felt like things were just getting started, and the real story hadn't yet started.

Prog / Re: Prog 2267 - The Look of the Law

Dredd was great.   There must have been a huge temptation to make an idea as strong/fun as that into a mutli-parter, but having it as a one and done felt positively luxurious.

Classifieds / Re: Recommended storage boxes?

Another vote for the Incognito ones.  They're the only supplier I've found whose 2000 AD boxes don't have "200AD/MAGAZINES" in large black bold type printed on the front.

Its terribly handy that he manages to dream so chronologically.

Mine just arrived, and in English.

This is really interesting - and exciting

Sounds like it's more of another special but in a nicer format, than a "original graphic novel" as such, unless Garth has got an idea to do a Trifecta and link all the stories.

Very exciting to see Rebellion have the confidence to release something like this with a talent line up that strong

I found the forthcoming thrill box very exciting.  Had thst been announced before?  It was news to me.

No chance I wasn't going to order this

But like others have said, I'll be hoping for more consistent repro, especially seeing as the price is a tenner higher than  vol 1 and 2 were

Is it Casebook dimensions or Meg sized?

Not in the prog, but a stand alone US format series, which will be reprinted in the floppy with the Meg.

Prog / Re: Prog 0 - AD2000

My copy of prog 0 is missing the free scale model of interest stellar fighter Daredevil 3.  Sort it out Rebellion!

Being serious, I think this is the nicest subscriber gift I've seen.  I'm not really one for branded t shirts, badges or notebooks, but this is right up my street.  A really lovely idea.

My only problem now  is do I file it in the box with progs 1-100 or in the Sci Fi Specials and Starlord and Diceman box?
