All this talk about what makes a good cover made me think what the best cover was. Might not be the best but I remember seeing it in the shops and thinking it look great was 226 with the Mean Arena by Steve Dillion.  Great stuff.  What does everyone else reckon the best cover was?http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/2000ad/hires/226.jpg">

Funnily enough, you can see what everyone thinks in  a 'Droids decide' feature in prog 2003 with the very same question.

There's actually a page for the top covers. However, until I add cover voting to the covers zone, as opposed to having to go through the prog profile pages, I have decided not to make this page generally available.

Prog 500 is winning.

Looking at the Top 20 Covers page around the 220's there were some classic covers.

Greatest cover? Oh my, so many before Prog 200, but I'd have to plump for the last episode of the Cursed Earth (sorry, don't know how to put pics on the page!)

I love hundreds of covers, all for different merits... so it's impossible to decide. Maybe categories are in order?

It's a damn crime this legendary cover isn't even in the top twenty.http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/2000ad/mediumres/61.jpg">

Geez, which one to go for....
