I'm guessing that's to promote one of the old black and white movie serials and whoever coloured it wasn't familiar with the comics and only had film or photographs for reference.

I was just admiring the blue/black colour palette you had used on the picture, when I had a "Eureka!" moment.... I saw the alien. Excellent.

I couldn't see the 'Alien' at first. Like one those 'magic eye' thingy's they had a while back I couldn't see for looking.
