Very nice, Jim.  Moody shadows are always cool.

Phuz, that's well hench and ting.  Those student stereotypes have changed a lot since student mags in my day - 'Crusty / grebo, rugger bugger ('jocks' hadn't been imported from the States back then), goth, raver, Smiths-lover'.

I have also made a time lapse video of the process I went through in painting this once the sketch was scanned into my computer for those who are curious enough.

Haven't drawn 'Whatever the hell I wanted' for some time, so this evening did and came up with a Dredd Head.....and shoulders. :)

Thank you for the kind words all.

I decided to lay some inks down on the Dredd head. This is inked with a Pentel brush pen.

Literally five mins ago I was looking through ImagineFx magazine Jan 2014 issue and came across your lettering sound effects feature which I hadn't noticed before. How's that for coincidence.
