That drawing book (and another one) consists of a drawing a day for the entire year. Some strip work as well. Don't have them with me here. 

To say I was obsessed with comics back then would be an understatement. One day there was a bomb scare at school and we weren't allowed to take our belongings home so without any felt tip pens I had no other option that evening but to draw a picture of the Hulk using all I could get my mitts on – a red biro. Painful stuff for me at the time.

I also found some strip work from the late eighties. TBH I wonder if I could do the same now. That kind of technique was 'art colleged' out of me long ago.
