Since none of the other (shite) suggestions are 'ladies' with long blonde hair and prominent bosoms, and none of them have ever been depicted wearing a red dress, I declare myself to have won the internet.

All she needs is an Adam's Apple an you are home and dry.

What an amazing image. I don't envy PYE-01's job of trying to figure out where to put the logo. Another "cortex-melting attempt" I fear.

Great first episode chaps. Really enjoyed the banter between you both; you sound like the If There Is Hell Below of original comic art collecting. Have subscribed to the feed and looking forward to upcoming episodes.

Being asked on the spot to explain this page to Americans was, er, interesting:

Well you definitely sold it to them. I think there may be an opening for an Inside Tharg's Head series by IDW.

That is extremely cool although I can imagine it being put to some very unsavoury uses.
Thank goodness its not on Android.

Yeah I don't think anyone touches Dave Sim when it comes to this... I'm I'm not talking about the celibacy thing there!

Fnarr fnarr!

The Hulk one is fantastic.
Dave Sim has to be one of the masters of onomatopoeic sound effects including this classic "shagging in the room next door" scene.

My favourite collection of books but I couldn't part with them, sorry! Its a love/hate thing. Tough to get through in large parts but an amazing artistic achievement. I plan to reread them all from the start one day but for sheer enjoyment I think I'll be doing a Prog Slog first.

Finally watched my recording of the first episode last night and quite enjoyed it. I like the Minority Report/Bladerunner look to the show. But I'm assuming from what I saw that this turns into a standard buddy cop show with a crime of the week.

I think, what with my expectations raised by Game of Thrones and House of Cards as to what can be done with a episodic series, that something like this won't hold my attention for very long (see Agents of Shield). But as I now know its only 13 episodes I'll probably make the effort to stick with it.

Ha!ha! That's amazing. I love the "standing up to his knees in water" effect you've achieved.

It looked to me like Dredd had forgotten how to work his lawgiver.  Then I noticed his knee and my perception of the picture changed completely.

Ha Ha! Edit out the knee and you've got a very senile looking Dredd.

Announcements / Re: 2000 AD Summer Special #1

Personally I'm looking forward to the return of Eoin Coveney on Dredd in the new Summer Special. The last time this prodigal son was published was in the 1986 Summer Special when he was a runner up in a one-page Dredd comic competition at about the age of 15. There has to be some sort of marketing opportunity in this, Molch-R! You need to dig out that page.

That's a fantastic Godzilla PJ. Would love a framed print of that in the "library".

Also love those cityscapes Trev. Nice moments of drama.
