does anyone know if ASTERIX the ultimate collection by Hachette is still happening?

I kept looking and even contacted them but never got a definitive answer. Have to assume at this point the answer is no. Having said that the website is still there...

I was hoping this would be very successful and be the start of us getting english versions of the those good french hachette collections

just finished asterix 38 and it was wonderfull.
I think the new team has improved since their first volume though the art i feel is a little too detailed

any one had luck subscribing to the asterix collection?

i really hope the asterix subscription goes forward and does well enough to convince hachette bring over more french series, bluberry, the peso work, hermann work etc .......

Hopefully we get announcement if a new partwork or maybe to they tell us whats going on withe the asterix ultimate collection

how many books will be needed to collect he whole series?

On the amazon page the back of the book says its the first volume collecting all the stories done by Lawrence, is this just for the Trigan Empire or all other stories done by Lawrence ?

Papercutz will use the original names and it is suppose to be targeted at the us market.

there is less paper count in the asterix ultimate collection per volume compared to the dredd and the 2000 ad ultimate collection, so aim hoping they can make the books larger format like the french editions

Realistically could machete release english version of previously released french collections like the lucky luke, blueberry, smurfs and Thorgal?

at 2000ad 50th anniversary.

Dredd at 83 and Rico and most of MC1 judges will fail the save MC1.

Dredd, Rico, Dolman and most of the judges will die trying to save a small section of the city.

Rico survives and takes the survivors to Tex city ( his original city) and takes the names Dredd and the script continues with a new Dredd ( Rico) in a new mega city.

at 2000ad 70th anniversary.

Dredd ( Rico) at the 20 year memorial of the MC1 destruction visits the remains of MC1 and realizes there is a small population for survivors that continued living there and protected by Dolman and some of the other surviving judges.

Dolman meets Dredd (Rico) and quickly realizes its Dredds brain in Rico body (Rico went brain dead 20 years prior).

All 2000s fans that grew up with Rico as their Dredd for the last 20 years flip out and stop buying it and 2000ad ends

oh and Gerhart becomes the new horned god but still can't figure out a good story for that lol
