That's all there is for now- I'll post over any updates that appear. Anyone know about this/ fancy going etc?

Unfortunately I'll be 'danthesmoke' that day...

Your sophisticated West End humour is lost on the likes of Huff.
Not the sort of thing I'd normally go to but, if folk are about, I'd wander round for a look and maybe a couple of pints.
any others of the Jockward squad going?
I plan on catching the first megabus down from Inverness and the last one back. By taking these particular buses I can get down and back for £8!!!
Will be booking my tickets later this week.
We'll have to have a look and see if it's possible...
Same day as the new Cardiff Comic Con, sadly.
Would have been well up for it but it clashes with day 2 of Frightfest so will have to give it a miss. Typical, nothing cool ever happens in Glasgow then two things come along at once.
Just before my kids birthdays so I'll check oot the toys and see if theres any comics I can snag. Be up fer a pint as well.
Sounds like fun. I shall check diaries with the missus.
Anyone else made any decision on this yet?
I got my tickets booked for the Megabus- £5 there (from Inverness on the first bus) and £1 back (on the last bus).
No drinkies for me- I'll have to drive home from Inverness. More to spend on comics I guess.
I'm in. It's written in the calendar in ink and everything.
I shall discuss with Rich, we do have a stack of comics to sell and a few other central belt missions to accomplish...

Bou, posting that on Valentine's day? you old romantic you...
This weekend people.
Roll Call:
Tips - I'm in.
I'll be around for a while and a pint or two laters.
I shall be about at some point. Certainly for the pints afterwards!
I'll be there.
In!
Any ideas on where we can purchase these said pints later?
Been a while since I was up the west end so everythings prob changed.
The QMU has a bar, it might be open?
Plenty of pubs round about. Left Bank, Stravaigin, The Doublet, etc on the way down Gibson Street towards town. Alternatively, the QM's two minutes walk from Ashton Lane and its abundance of wanker's dens.

I'll be there.
So will I! Though no drinks for me. :( I'll be driving up.
See y'all there!
Bah. A broken leg precludes drunken festivities. And a whole lot of other stuff.
(including emptying the bin and changing nappies, so it's not all bad)
Bit extreme to avoid changing nappies Doc. I'd have thought a couple of snapped fingers would have been sufficient.
Hope it mends nice and quick.
Well, I caught up with Cosh and Satanist but because I had Tiny Tips and Darth Tips with me, I could only stay for one jazz infused OJ afterwards.
But I picked up Transmetropolitan, Case Files 13, Battler Britain and Season 5 of Next Gen on DVD. The boys focused on Star Wars Lego and Star Wars figures.
Tiny Tips was also given a huge bundle of Batman (animated) comics by Alan Grant's brother (name escapes me) which was very nice. He'd been asking him whether there were Batman comics that he could read that weren't too violent.
And Darth Tips was most impressed and reported back to his Mum and Dad that "we met someone who draws Judge Dredd that looks like Indiana Jones". So that would be you, Colin. Well done.
I missed the bus in Inverness by less than 5 minutes!
Damn.

*Chortles* :D
First Terry Pratchet, now Indiana Jones. I can live with that.

A few more pies and that might well come true! :D

Damn.
We did wonder why it was so difficult to spot you. Shame.
Bought a couple of things and admired Mr MacNeil from afar but he was always too deep in conversation for me to accost him.
Oh and there was a bloke with a poster for a
GLASGOW COMIC CONVENTION on 18th June this year.
Guests confirmed (that i can remember) were Frank Quietly and Mark Millar.
It was £7-50 to get in and they appearred to be limiting it to 500 tickets (which I'm not sure is a good idea; in fact, I'm pretty certain isn't a good idea).
But I can't find anything on t'internet.
(It'd need some different guests to make me consider going; I have had the pleasure of meeting Mister Quietly several times and I'm pretty sure Mark Millar would be great and interesting but I want to build up my selection of sketches again after losing my book).
Yeah it was none too shabby. Picked up a few things and saw Mr MacNeil having a sneaky smoke next to Vader, couldnt decide which one to approach and make a fool of myself over so went to the pub instead.
Oh and heres that poster Tips is talking about...
