And we've done it... we've made it... the final week of the seemingly unending Round 2. It amazes me that we've stayed the distance, not killed each other over the course of these last 16 weeks, our love persists and maybe we need to take a break before charging headlong into anything else? I mean this week ends on a doozy, maybe we should take a break there and reflect.... Orrrr....
...see ya Monday for Round 3!
The final thrill to be elevated from the Regened to Prog 'proper' in Round 2 against a curious Megazine story that had lovely art by Kev Cullen and one of the more intriguing leads ever to grace Tharg's thrill-omelete ... and that's really saying something!

I didn't enjoy Creep on its original run but reading it again in the Mega Collection really enjoyed its....er...creepiness.
Creep.
Pandora Perfect.
Creep all the way to the bowels of the Undercity.

I don't think Pandora Perfect is perfect but I wasn't a fan of Creep. Back to the Undercity with him!
Creep was for me the epitome of annoying 1990s comics characters who were cooler and more powerful than anyone else just because the writer willed it so, with no explanation but more annoyingly not enough of a reason why such a character is interesting. But, you know, the art and setting genuinely were creepy.
Pandora Perfect is not my fave charming heist caper 2000AD thrill, but it is at least a very good version of that form, so it's gettin' my vote.
Closer so far than I would have ever imagined!
One of the best strips to come out of the Regened project: Pandora Perfect.
I couldn't stand Creep at the time. On re-reading it in the UC, it was better than I recalled, with some suitably horrible art and nasty storytelling. But the 'powers' think AlexF noted irked for me then and now too.
Pandora Perfect was fantastic in Regened; and although the full series didn't quite hit the same dizzy heights for me, it managed that extremely rare thing in 2000 AD: a humour strip I want to see more of.
PP
Creep
The Creep really was - it's like a version of Silence of the Lambs where Hannibal Lector eats Clarise. Or if General Zod won in Superman II. Or if Sid dismantled Buzz. It's worse than Red Razors, even. Guys - the baddy isn't supposed to win!
Pandora Perfect, on the other hand, is the best original property to come out of Regened (perhaps with the slight exception of Chet Jetstream's Escape From Hell Island, and a nod to Full Tilt Boogie).
I think there's a thrill with a cler lead here, but its not clear cut so last day votes could make a difference. Get um in and I'll count um up in the morning.
VOTING CLOSED
Not as close as my eye scan made it seem Pandora Perfect dominated here, but not completely by any stretch. Creep was a fascinating strip with great art so I'm really pleased it got the recognition it deserved. Pandora Perfect is just so charming though, but its a creeky charm and so
Pandora Perfect
