How do I go about getting a Rebellion ID that links to the app?

Do you use different log-ins for both?

I've not set up a Rebellion ID and don't want to get it wrong and end up with a redundant account. Will it link automatically if I use the same email address.

Due to circumstances beyond our control (thanks a lot, Apple!) the Sci-Fi Special won't be available to purchase on the 2000 AD Newsstand app.

HOWEVER!

You CAN still get it on the app by logging in to the 2000 AD webshop with your Rebellion ID (the one linked to your app) and purchasing it there, then downloading it onto your app. Fiddly, but it'll do the job.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

On the iPad app the cover is visible to taunt us, but it's marked as not available. Grrr.

Democracy Now has some interesting choices in it. Great that the very recent Mega City Confidential is included, but it would have been nice to see A Question of Judgement in there. Not strictly about democracy, but for me it's the start of Dredd's concerns about the system. And if I were being hyper critical there are some issues with text placement on the centre spreads being obscured by the fold. All in all though, another good book.

I loved Demon Nic. Really different to a lot of stuff in the Meg, beautifully drawn, and great potential in the story. Great to see Lawless back too.

And how could I forget Rainbow Orchid?

Alone!!!! It's absolutely fantastic, and she's the right age to get the most out of it.

Interesting split of the Day of Chaos books. Hot Night in 95 has been dropped, and The Assassination List from part 2 added. Will this leave space for a couple of aftermath stories in part 2. I can't say that Hot Night is a huge loss. It's a nice enough story but not essential to the bigger story.

Looking forward to picking this up tomorrow. The DoC, is like the Cursed Earth, or the Apocalypse War for me. I imagine I'll end up buying it every time it get's released..

And kinda glad that it's not a straight reprinting of the fairly recent trades. Is the Skinning Room still present?
TBH, I'd not miss either (not that there's owt wrong with those two tales. Far from it), but nice to have something different. I suspect Mr Carroll's 'Downtime' episode hasn't been included this time round?
So yes, be interesting to see how they fill out book 2...

Although the Skinning Room might not be essential to the story I still love it, both for Wilsher's art and for the superb interview with the sniper judge. He's such a great character. Forgive my ignorance, but has he appeared in any other stories?

Thanks; I enjoyed that. There was mention in the thrillcast of a new iOS app in place of the newsstand one, yet I can't seem to find it. Was the thrillcast premature?

I'm with Tippy. An excellent prog this week, stuffed to the gills with top quality thrills. The only exception being Slaine, where the artwork is sublime but the script continues to leave me cold. A shame, as I really enjoyed the last run.

That's really great, and happy birthday and stuff, but shouldn't this really be shared with her first?

(Oooh, Day of Chaos Mega Collection... tempted, tempted...)

Tempted isn't the word that comes most readily to mind...more like compulsory...even after having recently borrowed the 4th Faction from my local library, and having the Progs relatively to hand.

He's right. I've not got the progs - it was during my great hiatus - but I do already have this on digital. £10 for a spiffy hardback copy of (half of) the most important Dredd story of modern times can't be turned down though.

It'll be more than 7 weeks. Apparently Endgame will be issue 18!!

General / Re: No more Judge Dredd Graphic Novels?

I thought I was alone in wanting to call comics comics. I've had friendly arguments at work about whether the term graphic novel is a shield behind which those too insecure to admit they read comics hide.

I love comics, me.
