I have the Nexus Mod manager installed, which I'm sure is mentioned on one of this threads 19 pages.
Very cool, you just tick and untick mods before launching.
Know one of them basically jumps you straight to the "Holy crap... DRAGON!" stage of the intro so you dont have to redo the cart ride etc

Would really recommend the SKY UI mod too which makes the interface more pc and less console port

free of the taint of having appeared on a podcast where it was claimed they can't write or draw.

Ahh, I'm just as bad. I only ever get people on I'm a fan of anyway. Not professional enough to be suitably enthusiastic otherwise.
Do enjoy the interview ones as a fan though so will try and sort more. And ideally get one of the girls to do it as they're way better at it than the rest of us IMHO

Other then 2000 what comics are you having fun with?
Big superhero nerd as well so lots of that really. Just got the first issues of the new Daredevil run which have been really cool. Still getting used to being an X-Men fan after Bendis' stuff pulled me in and Hickman's stuff put me off Avengers

Ultimate edition of Injustice Gods Among Us is £5.74 at the moment.
Well worth that, especially if you are partial to a bit of DC comics

Even if not it's a kickass fighting game. Very mortal kombat (the new edition of which is also cheap at the moment) but less blood and guts obviously. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I suck at it but it's still fun to play.

Giving this another go. Playing it with a few mods tagged on, all superficial graphics ones, nothing to change the story or gameplay, will save that for if I do a 2nd runthrough.

Actually managed to play it for ages waiting to get magic before realising that the fact I was using a two handed sword meant I had no hands free to wield any. That said it woulda been nice if the game had mentioned I had magic at some point.

Not a new forum-ite but a lapsed one giving it another shot after a few months absence as I was obviously missed   -cough-

Hello again...or for the first time

Richard in the real world. Might say that over there <--

Old fart who had 2000ad issue 1 bought for him as a kid and immediately lost the frisbee over next door's back garden.

Dipped in an out after that but have read solidly since prog 1631 from waaaay back in 2009

Fave all time strip, Nemesis. Fave of the new stuff, probably Absalom

Done some bad writing for Zarjaz and Dogbreath

I half assedly run the ECBT2000AD website and occasionally turn up on the podcast (I'm the drunk Welsh one who swears too much, not the angry Irish one).

I have a nice new(ish) job which means zero skive time to come on here really but will try and post a bit

Will be avoiding the moral argument threads like the plague... if I wanted to be preached at I'd get religious or ring my mother more often. This is about comics and stuff innit? Comics are supposed to be fun, right?

Is better than you at Kung Fu Master but doesn't like to get all superior about it. It's not your fault.

Is apparently now speaking about himself in the third person like a right pretentious f*cker so will cut this short

Its up

Thanks again for the questions and of course to Keith and Pye for doing it

Right, doing this in about half hour. Just collating all the questions, and wasnt this a joy to read through again?  ::)
Cheers for the questions. Will get in as many as time allows. Any posted after this have missed the boat I'm afraid.
Cant give a definite release date for this one as it'll be getting pre-checked for any "Oh fuck, I wasnt supposed to mention that yet" slips but as soon as it gets the green light I'll let people know

Damn, dont think I can delete my account. Can I get banned? Um.... THARG IS A WUSS! HALO JONES IS BORING! DREDD HAS A PERM! SCOJO WAS RIGHT!

And I said its "not worth the grief due to the online personas of a handful of people".

Because I find some people so annoying that it bugs the shit out of me because, as you know, I'm a twitchy, angry fucker. Hence grief. Nobody has come at me directly but not posting ranty replies to stuff was giving me ulcers. This is why I dont do forums and deleted half my facebook contacts...as you'd know... but you deleted me first   :D

Sorry, thread drift.

I'll go delete my account now so I cant be tempted to bite next time.

Jeez, wanna borrow my cross?

I dont feel persecuted and especially not threatened by you or anyone, I just can't be arsed with it. Some people seem to enjoy arguing online, I dont.

As for accusations I said I found your online persona annoying. Thats a statement. I do.

which is why I REALLY shouldnt have bothered replying

Are their martyr complexes now so fully-fledged that they can't even bring themselves to sully their keyboards by posting to the forum themselves?

Cheers

Jim

Oh DO fuck off Jim.  Just because I find these forums annoying and not worth the grief due to the online personas of a handful of people, yourself obviously included, I didnt think that should exclude other forum members from getting questions as the times I've spoken to Keith seem to be appreciated. Pete volunteered as an active member, job done.

Of course if you'd rather us not bother fine. I could do without taking the day off work to record this to be honest

cheers.

General / Re: Any questions for Pat Mills?
06 March, 2014, 11:55:50 AM
As I mentioned in the opening post this was done Tuesday so apologies but any questions posted after that won't have been included. Think it might have been done Tuesday lunchtime too so even ones from that afternoon might have slipped through the net. Sorry

Also the question about getting an unpublished script seems more like a request than a Q&A question so is probably something you wanna ask him personally. Pretty sure he runs and reads his own Twitter if that helps.

Anyway, as before I think this was a MONSTER one so rather than cut it down it's gonna go out in a few parts. First one should be this afternoon, I'll update this once it's gone live.
