So as we enter the second half of the tourney energy is no doubt flagging. We're all getting a bit sick of this nonsense and wondering can it possibly keep up the excitement and is it all just a bit too ... BOOM!... Hell the first full week of the second half of the tourney reminds us quite why we're here with a BLISTERING start and to be frank the quality just keeps on coming. WOW if energy was flagging the ties this week will bring us right back into the zone

And the top thrills just keep coming this week. Lawless is another of the thrills I see as a flag bearer for the modern produce of Tharg's Thrill Orchard. For me one of the all time greats, and should be nailed on for a spot in the semis... but will it... unlikely there's a lot of personal bias in there. If it is one suspects it will need to overcome tougher draws than this

Oh yeah that semi's call is in my head canon of best thrills. I think it will struggle to get that far in reality... but you never know...

Lawless is one of the best Dreddworld strips in existence – and one of my favourites in recent years out of anything 2000 AD puts out. It might for me struggle against some other strips, but against Samizdat Squad? Nope.
