Spaceghost

1st - 1836 - Defoe zombie sillouhette by Leigh Gallagher. An utterly fantastic design beautifully executed.

2nd - 1819 - Dredd bursting out of explody head by James Harren. Another case of innovative design perfectly realised.

3rd - 1825 - Zombo in two halves by Henry Flint. Eye-catching and technically brilliant.

Honourable mention - 1830 - Gunheadz retro by Boo Cook. As a lure for curious punters, this did the job and I bet it was picked off the shelf by a lapsed Squaxx for a closer look more than any other prog this year.
Raised in the wild by sarcastic wolves.

Previously known as L*e B*tes. Sshhh, going undercover...

Spikes

Bit of a toughie this year but,

1st - Prog 1837 Chris Weston

2nd - Prog 1861 Henry Flint

3rd - Prog 1824 D'Israeli

HM's - Prog 1847 and 1852

Link Prime

Better late than never;

1) Prog 1852 (Culbard)
2) Prog 1821 (Bolland)
3) Prog 1825 (Flint)

Ignatius

A difficult decision, but...

1: 1841 (Dave Taylor)
2: 1828 (Henry Flint)
3: 1832 (Ian Culbard)

And if I could pick a 4th, I would choose you 1852!

Simon Beigh

Phew - just made it before the deadline...

(1) 1837 - Chris Weston - bloody hell what a cover. Dredd and that cityscape... And it's a painting as well. It took Chris nearly a week to paint. None of yer computer jiggery-pokery here...
(2) 1845 - Karl Richardson - made me utter 'OMFG' (to quote 'the kids') out loud in Smiths, shocking an old lady looking for her weekly fix of Commando...
(3) 1857 - Karl Richardson - so I'm a Karl Richardson fan... I'll admit it. I think he's one of the best cover artists in the business. So I happen to own pencils for this... I might be biased ;)

just in the nick of time...

3rd - 1854
2nd - 1837
TOP - 1830

It;s a strange state of affairs when a beautiful classic Bolland Dredd can't push into the top 3.
