Sin Dex has been big fat smelly pants since they went on the Who Wants to be a Millionaire type game show.

Out of character.
Out of ideas.

I don't know if this has been posted before, being new here and all that, but whatever happened to Dredd's child, the Starborn Thing? Last we saw of it, the ST was being held for observation. It's gotta be in its late teens now, developing strange growths and taking an unhealthy interest in other Things, human possession, feeding on people's minds and running away to the stars. I demand to know what it's doing!!

PS I also think Cap'n Skank should be brought back. Being digested by a whale shouldn't be much of a problem for a psychotic cyborg.

NAME: The Enigmatic Dr X

TITLE: Nope, still waiting on that knighthood.

RESEMBLES: Homer Simpson. Except not as fat, not bald, wears glasses and not yellow. I have five fingers on my hands too.

GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT: Finding a wife who understands that talking while I am reading 2000ad will result in being shouted at.

ONCE SAW: My guardian angel (I think - I was profoundly drunk and fell in Suachiehall Street (which all the Glasgow posters will know). A contact lense fell out and I couldn't see. Then a strange bloke appeared before me and handed it to me. Without bending down. When I stood up I was all alone in the street. NB - this was in the days of hard lenses)

LACKS: Motivation.

HASN'T GOT: Any time for soaps (apart from when that bloke is killing folk on Coronation Street)

LIKES: Faffing on the net when I'm supposed to working.

DISLIKES: Working when I want to faff on the net.

ONCE ATE: A whole watermelon for a bet (and then spent the next day getting rid of it)

ADDICTED TO: Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. Seriously. My wife won't buy them anymore (but see above, she's not that bad)

SECRET SHAME: Is actually a lawyer who finds it mildly amusing to sign in as a B movie villain

Three suggestions:

The "Dredd - Dead?" cover from the Apocalypse War (can't remember the number).

Or, the one with the words "Respect the Badge, Fear the Gun, Dredd the Man!" (dunno that number either, but it should've been the film's tag line)

I also remember a cover with the line "Every Dog has his day - Feral's day is coming".

I got an issue with a free Buck Rogers sticker album. It had a pciture of death in it. Then, about 6 months later, the Judge Death Lives story started and I recognised him on the cover. Have bought it ever since.

"Round Up the usual suspects" = Roy Mark in Casablanca

Revolver quote is from Revolver Ocelot,in Metal
Gear Solid

How about this:

I'm sick of being cold and wet and hypnotized left, right, and center. I'm sick of being shot at, savaged by bug-eyed monsters, never knowing if I'm coming or going, or been!

You can't actually copyright food or any other GM thing (animal, vegetable or mineral). These things are all protected by patents, which only last 20 years from the date of development before entering the public domain. So - not to worry!

This is just like eBay! I dunno if I want to sell - I just wondered whether it was worth moving it from the cupboard where my wife put it (after using it, for Gawds sake). But if anyone is interested, I do have a nice mug with a ring of blue and yellow squares on it.

Sorry to make you feel bad - but my copies sometimes arrive on a Saturday (which I kinda like because I remember when it used to be in the shops that day)

Friday mug is not for sale. And, clearly, for drinking from either.

The bidding for the other mug (nice, white with blue and yellow squares - not related to 2K or any comic) is at ?8. If it reaches ?10 I'll sell it. And if it reaches ?20 I'll even clean it.

Sorry for the cross post

Not a fan of tomato soup. Unless it's a really big tin?

I have a heat sensitive Rogue Trooper mug from the 90s. It has Friday on it, and when liquid is poured in a blackened speech bubble clears to reveal "Dispensing Coffee Now, Friday". It was a prize for having a letter printed and, as far as I know, was never avaialble in any shops. Any idea wha this is worth?

A) Quality harback editions of classics from the turn of the century (Wells, Dickens, Alice etc). Get em cheap on Amazon.com (not the UK) and pay no VAT cos they are books.

Q) What can I buy Mrs X for Christmas? Strictly no DVDs, CDs or things for two people (eg holidays or cars!) are allowed.
