Historical Dredd
« on: 04 January, 2011, 11:57:50 PM »
Been flicking through old progs at random an came across the story where Dredd solves the case of Jack the Ripper...are there more cases of Dredd and historical characters?
( this does not include Burke & Hare,Quasimodo or Sweeny Todd from that early Dredd story when weather control screws up over the waxworks museum)

Some second world war planes have attacked Meg City One. Not historical characters but in the same vein

A perp body-swapped with Bill Clinton, and Clinton ended up in Megacity 1.

Not many real people turn up (except as city block names), it's usually parodies of them, like the Michael Jackson one who was frozen and revived.

Sometimes the odd mythlogical character might turn up, like Odin, or Satan.

Dr. What met a fair few historical types, but I'm struggling to think of others that Dredd himself encountered.  Do Ronald McDonald, John Wagner and the Michelin Man count?  Jack the Ripper, the Battle of Britain and Bill Clinton - an odd mix!
