Not sure if I mentioned this before, but late last year, Ron Smith's granddaughter became a member of Dale Jackson's 2000ad original art FB page, and once it became known who she was, she was moved to tears by the outpouring of love from the members for her grandfathers work. She asked people if they wanted to write a comment in a dedicated post, then she would print them all off and then post them to her grandfather to read. Which she duly did. Ron, again, greatly appreciated this, and loved reading the comments.
