Film & TV / Studio Ghibli Movies to stream on Netflix
20 January, 2020, 10:08:49 AM
Just seen news that from the 1st of February Netflix will be adding 21 Studio Ghibli movies to their Library!

I've, to my eternal shame, not seen any of their movies other than clips and a few interviews with Hayao Miyazaki, so am hoping to make the most of this and start in on their back catalogue.

Anyone any suggestions, is their a particular viewing order?

Help! / Digital download returns?
07 December, 2016, 12:44:14 PM
Aloha,

The good Lady was advised of the sale on 2000AD graphic novels, so i suggested a few and purchased them digitally! She'd rather i have them in print, so i was wondering if there was any way i can return the digital versions so i can go ahead and order the print versions?

thanks,

Cathal

Books & Comics / Moebius!
29 April, 2016, 11:55:13 AM
Have admired the man's art for years, and followed numerous tumblrs and blogs that have shared, dissected, celebrated etc. his art. Finally looking to add a few books of his to my collection, and was hoping you good people will give me some advice on what to buy, and what to avoid.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the board / Aloha!
15 March, 2016, 12:06:12 PM
Aloha,

Finally picked up the courage to register after many years of lurking (I'm outside your window!!!)

Was a long-time reader who started out with prog 750, but fell away from collecting owing to work, space issues and, being honest, dwindling interest in all forms and styles of comic.

Have browsed the boards, though, to keep up with what was going on in Judge Dredd, and took a punt with a few of the graphic novels – Mandroid, Origins, Trifecta! Absolutely brilliant stuff. Love Henry Flint's art, and will definitely be collecting the Zombo collections.

Love the podcast, especially the three part interview with the brilliant John Wagner, and am now going to hopefully sort a digital sub from next jumping on point. It actually feels like coming home after too long away, and am really looking forward to getting the Prog delivered every week!

Please, be gentle, and I hope to contribute to both the board and community and get to know you all.

Thanks,

Cathal
