Sheesh! Now I feel guilty. Sorry Beaky.  My intent was to defend my previous sarcky comment rather than sound like I was actually having a go! Put your coat down.

QuoteAnd despite some snarky comments about my recent posts about an imminent Dredd trailer, I'm telling y'all one is imminent, and I mean it....

Can you clarify how long your "imminent" piece of string is Beaky? 1 week? 1 month? 2 months?
If you can't, then your statement is both pointless and obvious. The thing that's both irritating and amusing in equal measure is the fact that your posts suggest you know something we don't, when in fact you know as little as we do.

The first time in a long time someone actually responds to one of my posts and it is to point out a spelling mistake.

Fucking typical.

Quote. Yes, I think we can definitely say that a trailer will be forthcoming before the release of the actual movie...

You clearly have the same insider knowledge that Beaky Smoochies has Mr Clements or else how would you know this?
Are you in fact John Wagner?

I can back beacky smoochies up on this. A trailer is definately on its way within the next 6 months. If  never trusted anything I've said on this forum before, trust me on this one :-X

If you can also go when its not a weekend as (obviously) they tend to be busiest. The Qbots I mentioned can be booked online before you go. This is worthwhile as the you can "beat the queue to queue for the Qbot" as it were. The queueing really is the biggest ball ache about legoland. Especially for younglings but there are a few things you can do to minimise queue time to get the most out of your day.

1. The Qbots- (its basically a way of queing without waiting in the queue.) I dont know how many is in your party but after our first experience of legoland I would never go again without a Qbot. We are a party of 2 adults and 2 children. One is 4 and the other is 2. (Any child under 3 will get on a ride without a Qbot)  We tend to punch in a ride each and alternate who goes on what with our 4 year old. This way hes pretty much constantly entertained without the long wait times which makes us adults both happy as the main joy of Legoland  is really all about the joy you see the kids get from it.

2. Get there 30 minutes before opening time- Although the opening times say the park is NOT actually open until a certain time, it actually is. Its the rides that aren't open. If you get there early you can get into the park quickly, get your Qbot and have a good start to the day by not having to queue at all for your first ride. (Some rides do not accept Qbot)

3. If you DO get a Qbot. Go on the non Qbot rides at the start of the day before the park gets too busy. By far the biggest attraction at the moment is Atlantis "Submarine Adventure" which is just past the "boating school". The boating school also gets busy very quickly but isn't anywhere near the fun and spectacle of the former so either/ or may be a good place to start.

4. Without a Qbot, dont bother with "Team challenge". Its basically a water slide that lasts 20 seconds but the queue is ALWAYS atrocious.  Its not worth the wait time.

Hope this is of help to you.

Help! / Re: Humaine Mice repellants...

QuoteTo ne honest, I'm all for 'humane' but not so much for the 'repel' part. I mean, wouldn't you just be passing your mouse problem on to your nearest neighbours? And if so, will they be humane as you in seeing to the problem? If not, then isn't this all too much like sparing your own feelings?

I couldn't give to figs about whether its humane or not. However, the problem with traps and poisons is that you are only going to solve the problem temporarily and sooner or later they'll be back again. The only way to deal with the problem permanently is to make sure the little blighter's cant find a way in!

If you haven't already paid for tickets make sure you get a 241 token/tokens. You'll find loads of links on the Internet. Also make sure you get a couple of qbots. Theyll cost you 15 quid extra but you can double what you can do in a day rather than spending the whole time queuing!

This company are fantastic and humane:

http://www.pestremovals.co.uk

They use repellent gel (some kind of chilli mix which burns there noses) to stop rodents from wanting to enter and also block up any holes in your house to stop them from being able to enter. They also guarantee rodents will not come back. If they do the company will inspect your house for free until you are satisfied.

QuoteOn the CGI cartoon front have you seen this one from Aardman? Its genius

Hmm.Just played this without vetting it in front of my 4 year old. It made me laugh but left him wondering what the joke was. I don't think he's used to such extreme cartoons. :o

QuoteBecause the Amy & Rory who get the messages are the ones at the start of the series and nothing that's since happened to them had happened to them when they got the messages.

But then it DID happen to them. The doctor dropped them off at their new house and shortly after they received the envelopes? Still confused.

AARGH!!

Can anyone please explain to me why Amy and Rory don't already know the Doctor is going to die when they receive the blue envelopes he gets from this episode.
When he left them last episode they knew he was going to die. An episode later he gets the envelopes. He then, presumably sends the messages to Rory and Amy but they seem to have no recollection about what happened to him. MY HEAD IS CAVING IN!
