i've been a reader since 1993/94 (jinkies! that's 10 years now!). i've been an occasional lurker now and again but decided to pop my head up with a cheeky little plug...

wake, we don't have any material that references 2000AD in particular, but our ethos and sound is one that has comparisons with it. yeh, that and the name! maybe people could have a listen to the mp3s that are available for free on the media page on our website and make a vote for their favourite to be put up...

yep, man or astroman were really cool! we fit into the sci-fi surf rock thing but with added analogue synth noodlings and theremin action for that touch of Dr.Who!

oi tanky! what's your band called and where are you based? we're from wigan, england. we're organising a tour sometime soon, so everyone might get a chance to see us!
