i found the original message when shamefully and egotistically googling "youthinkthisisntme" (which was the precursor to the handily-abbreviated "thinky").

it seems that i appeared on the forum in that format mere weeks/months after one of the earlier (earliest?) sc*jo/mongo bloodbaths and, taking my username into account i can probably understand it now, i got a bit of stick for being the great man himself.

of course, i had no idea who he was or what was going on - i just thought the place was full of miserable fuckers...
