Show off! That is lovely.

Also, it reminded me how much I liked Jack Potter's lettering!
It's a joke. I was joking.

Ahem!

The title logo is another 2000AD classic, I assume Potter designed it!

Skullmo

Definitely is - I like things not designed on computer!
It's a joke. I was joking.

According to David McDonald's brilliant and invaluable BEYOND 2000AD, the Stainless Steel Rat logo was one of the few examples of then-2000ad art editor Colin Wyatt's handiwork in that discipline.

hippynumber1

Thanks for that, Saucie! If that was the quality of his work, I'm surprised he didn't design more!

Today's treat from Carlos Ezquerra is from 'The Ragnarok Job'. This story is the one where Johnny and Wulf are walking through a forest when they see a figure sitting on a tree stump holding his head in his lap. Wulf asks him 'Are you a-gobbling?' The figure looks up and says 'Yes, and I have a stinking headache!' Johnny laughs at Wulf's failed attempt at a knob gag and the goblin's friends attack them for mocking their afflicted comrade. Or something like that!

From the mighty pen of Mr Willsher: Nadia and Joe play 'Who's the best shot?'.

Face-shot!

Lovely stuff! I think I prefer Mr. W's art in black and white

Try again, a long time since I looked through my art folder, the detail on the panel by Carlos is just fantastic.
The Ewins piece is very faint on tracing paper, but up close the detail is great.

A bit of hot Gronk action for y'all...

Can't beat a bit of flambé Gronk!
