No sure if your going to keep going - so I'll not do spoilers but we know there's at least one a LOT earlier than that!

Got to hand it to you, that is quite subtle. I bet you don't dare say any more ....
From the these I would like to see the return of both Helium and The Alienist
Yup, Helium and The Alienist would both be welcomed back with open arms by me.
Helium and The Alienist at a least worked pretty well as standalone. The Bad Man was dreadful. I'm very glad that didn't become the basis for Dredd's world and has now been largely forgotten.
Thirded on Helium and the Alienist.
I wasn't much of a fan of Flesh at the time, but I would've like to see it wrapped up one way or another..
Over on the Prog 2228 review thread Broodblik copied across some comments Uncle Pat made on Twitter
QuoteFrom Pat's twitter related to Flesh:
Q: Are you and Clint Langley going to be working on a final chapter for Flesh? It ended on a heck of a cliffhanger...
A: Too busy just now. I'd need to review it and see if it required some rethink for the finale, both in story and art terms. Off hand, I'd say it needed it. I won't just knock it out. It's too important & I think Flesh deserves to go out on a high note, like Leo's Slaine.
I'd love to see it get finished.
Need to remind myself where Savage got to last time as well...

Would like to see both return, but would love to see Eoin Coveney back in the Prog regardless.
On Savage, there's a feeling I have that somehow Pat needs to write one more book of ABCs/Ro-Busters that properly crosses over with Savage to give them both a sort of send-off.
'needs' being the opposite of the word I should use.
From all Pat's outstanding stuff Savage is the one I would like him to "finish"
Jones, of course. I really hate knowing that there was going to be loads more Jones, but then there wasn't.
Other than that, yeah, I would have liked to see how Savage ended up. And at the risk of half of you jumping out of my monitor and battering me to death, I'd have enjoyed seeing how Big Dave fared in the Bush, Obama and Trump eras too.
Also, are we going to see more of that robot copper chap that Wagner and Ezquerra introduced a few years ago? Loads of potential there, even considering the very sad loss of one of the creators.
I'm still looking forward to book 2 of Vanguard.
We have another culprit and it is Brass Sun. Great series wish we can have more of it.

Good call - I think that story really opened up at the end of the first series and had real potential.

I think Brass Sun, like Helium, is still
theoretically on the cards but is waiting on a suitable gap in the relevant art droid's schedule. As I've said before, although I'd like to see more Brass Sun, if the price of that is less Brink, I'm not sure I'd take that trade-off...

Any world where Big Dave runs for at least 28 years but we still get Trump would be Hell, basically.

Culbard's art lifts Brink immensely, but Brass Sun is the series he was born to draw.

No problem just clone him and we have a solution. Talking of Brink I think Abnett/Culbard is working on the new book so it might be ready for prog 2250 (another jump-on prog)

Really that is very, very good news!
Still demand MORE Brass Sun as well of course (I mean does INJ Culbard
need to eat... or sleep... really...)
Culbard's Vertigo Berger Books series is finished now so maybe he will have more time to work for Tharg!?

Right Tharg lock him in a cupboard until he has finished a new series of
BOTH Brass Sun AND Brink... then you can let him out.... well actually I'd like to see him do Dredd... but after that he can go free...

Have to be careful skim reading these. Took me a few moments to realise it was
prog 2250 ... Thought having to wait over 200 years was a bit excessive ... ::)

I too can't wait to find out how Pussyfoot 5 fare with the Ghost War in Jezreel's Eye.
As Funt says it's okay to play, I'll end the anticipation:
Dan Dare: Servant of Evil, prog 126 in 1979.
In fairness to Tharg, he doesn't make any kind of promise that Dan will be back, just that he'll be taking a break - and he wasn't wrong!
The year ahead preview at the start of 1981* does, however, promise that DD would be back.
(* I don't have the prog to hand but it'd be somewhere around 195.)
There's a "Things To Come In '81" page in prog 192 - that might be it.

I had to look this one up to see how accurate The Corinthian was being (knowing his rather unorthodox eyesight issues), but sho'nuff, here's

To be fair to tharg A Dan Dare did return in 1982 just not the 2000ad version and not in 2000ad itself

*makes note* Not actually THE Corinthian.
:-[ I had actually kind of forgotten that about my namesake. :-[
To be fair, I was also making an actual gender assumption - sorry!

him/his/mine!
Where we ever promises another series of Ampney Crucis? Even if is not true I still would like more of this
Ampney really did end, even though I was a bit confused by how abrupt it seemed - they went for the Dallas solution of waking up in a different reality:
It wasn't that long ago that everyone was wondering if we were ever going to have a follow up to that cliffhanger in Stickleback, so I live in hope.
Sometimes hope is equals to 6 years
I remember an Earthlet wrote in complaining of Tharg's usual empty promise of 'in the new year' - Rogue Trooper, in this case. Tharg pointed out that it was a mere spelling mistake, and it was meant to say 'in his new gear'. The cheeky green wanker.
There was a time in 2000AD's history when readers thought there wasn't enough Rogue Trooper?!
In the Hachette collection, Davis and Edginton say they'd be quite up for doing more Ampney, and both agree it didn't really end in a satisfying way. But promises were not made!
Frankly its lower on my wishlist than Thistlebone, Helium and Brass Sun. But, givewn the inter-dimensional aspect to Ampney Crucis, I can well imagine the character (and his trusty batman) showing up in any given Edg-verse series. I suppose if Stickleback ever ends up digging tunnels into a Prep school he might meet a young Crucis snaffling pies while avoiding a well-earned caning.

Tbf, we can't exactly complain that more Thistlebone hasn't yet shown up despite being promised.
Do what I want, mate.
Sorry, I mean yeah, you're right, and it's the perfect time of year for this type of folk horror.
