One site shuts down, three more pop up in its place. Just the nature of the beast, really.

With Loki now dead in the water http://www.vip-torrents.com seems to be one of the most populated.

Calling somebody a 'fatboy' on a comics message board... how scathing...

Reminds of me a time when America and Britain were going at it for the Landspeed Record. The same sort of technology and person against the world mentality which also yeiled a few knighthoods.

I don't agree with the blanket coverage she has recieved since getting back on dry land, but it makes a change from hearing about what policy the Conservatives have decided to disagree with today.

Help! / Re: Kazza/P2P sharing..
08 February, 2005, 03:40:38 PM
To be fair, all the P2P networks have viruses littered about. The Torrent networks are generally the cleanest on that count, especially from the larger sites.

Get yourself a copy of Azureus and pillage these sites... http://www.vip-torrents.com http://www.torrentreactor.net http://www.kerrazy-torrents.com/ and http://www.lokitorrent.com

You might have to signup for a couple of those, it doesn't incur the wrath of the spam-god so don't worry about it.

Avoid Kazaa at all costs unless you're using Kazaa Lite, but by all accounts that network is half dead anyway.

The Mini Cooper (http://www.r50rd.co.uk/research/internal/v2i/engin/) or Citroen?

If only we were all dancing transformers...

You do realise that 'officially' VW are furious about this spoof ad, right?

Unofficially - the ad cost around ?30,000 to make and was done by a professional crew.

Personally, I find it funny 'just because'. I'm not going to think to hard about why because at the end of the day it's simply a 30 sec clip with a joke at the end.

It's a lazy comparison sure, but it's the most accurate.

I've recently started buying The Losers again, jumped back on a few months a go with the Afghan drug camp story. I can see why people wouldn't dig it, but for me it's like a modern A-Team without the jive talking (the one negative of the whole comic).

Plus the art makes me want to sell my house and devote my life to buying Losers pages.

Anderson

DeMarco

Me thinks the final two are already decided.

Micheal Moore is notorious for bending the facts to make any point he currently has a hardon for. I'm not pro-Bush but I can't stand that fat little runt running around with his soapbox.

To make everyone feel better, here's a quote from Dirty Harry himself - Clint Eastwood.

"Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common - we both appreciate living in a country where there's free expression, but, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera - I'll kill you. I mean it."

Off Topic / Re: Is Thesis a real snuff movie?....

The closest you'll get to snuff without filming it yourself is probably by picking up a copy of "Mordum" from the delightful Toe Tag Pictures.

The first in the series of "Guinea Pig" films from Japan, seemingly the home of every perversion is a fairly good attempt at faux snuff also.

There are a few more but I can't place the names at the minute.
