Metro Dredd R.I.P.?

No Dredd in todays Metro - with it being a year since it started, I'm assuming its not carrying on. A shame if so, as Si's strips were actually starting to make something of the format.

It would be a shame if that was the end of the strip. The bulk of the strips were very poor - not even holding a candle to decades-old Daily Star Dredds - but the exposure was welcome, and like Watcher says, Si Spurrier's strips (aided and abetted by Steve Roberts' immeasurably better artwork) seemed to be a move in the right direction.

Hopefully it's just a blip and they'll return...

I commute in London every day but even then I didnt waste my time reading the Metro Dredds because they were so piss poor.

Can't add anything to the mystery.  Out of the stuff Steve and I did there's only one story left unprinted, but whether it's been delayed by a week (or a day?), or whether it's been cancelled, I couldn't tell you.

And a letter today described Dredd as 'A poor man's Robocop' ( who ripped who off?> but I'm walking away from that one.
