Yes, Scotland have moved up two places in the FIFA rankings, leap-frogging past those giant of world soccer, Syria and Burkina Faso.

Screw you, Thailand (83, and dropping) - you're next!

What? How? Losing only by two goals to Italy somehow gives us FIFA points?

That's what happens when you call up PNE's finest Brian O'Neil to the squad (even if he doesn't play).

Watch out for Bolivia coming up on the rails though.
Whispering Walter may need to motivate his players to a draw somewhere to keep hold of that coveted joint 86th place.

Mate, you can move up and down the Fifa rankings without actually playing any recent games.

How they work these things out is a mystery known to no man.

Maybe Scotland shouldn't play any more games, ever.

We'll be in the top ten before you know it.

The Enigmatic Dr X

What probably happened is that some of the teams above us played a few games and became a bit rubbishyer (you can use that word if you want, anyone, but I made it up), meaning that they pulled us up a few rankings.
