Noisybast

I might be mis-remembering, but I think the Spot-The-Difference compo was run in an annual or special. They had two versions of the artwork because the first one got lost behind a filing cabinet and Dave Gibbons had to draw a replacement.
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Funt Solo

There was a series of classic covers on the back pages of progs 513-519.  Each had this text at the bottom: "Can Earthlets spot the one cover that was printed differently to the way it appears in this series?"  Of course it was the cover of prog 45 (on the back of 513).

The result was given in prog 533 - but no explanation.

It says on the notes for prog 45 on this site that the "Original version had Dan Dare's face looking off to one side, so a face-on version was drawn on top by a diffeent artist."
