The British MOD routinely selects young children, takes them into secluded countryside locations near to MOD bases, gives them access to computers, raw materials, millitary parachutes and manpower, and gives them subtle but intensive and specific training in reconnaissance and aquisition, construction, "self-motivation", or leadership.
Look under "MOD Daycare".
"Daycare" does not carefully select it's participants, nor does it cost ?2 a day. And you have more than three people watching 25 kids in an area the size of a dozen football fields.
Best days of my life.

LOL, my sympathies, Your Majesty. I once sat down on the kerb while waiting for my sister to come out of a shop and an old lady tried to give me 50p. Maybe I should stop getting my clothes from folk festival stalls.

Actualy, quite a few small boys bought this weeks prog (I "work" in WH Smiths...), possibly lured by the prospect of seeing lots of people getting killed. Prehaps this is a good marketing ploy on the part of Rebellion, and hardly any of their mothers marched in and demanded to see the manager about how they could sell this sort of thing to children.

Unless you mean "bracken", I'm frightened.
Plus, this is probably the world's greatest rock collection. I mean, I've got a box of meteorite dust they gave away with Shreddies, and more zeolites than you can shake a stick at. And a bunch of fossils my mum found, including zossilised seaweed. And interesting bits of stone that I collect from people's driveways when I go to their houses. And...

I argue that being female and collecting rocks gives me an unfair geekieness boost.

Babies? What the hell do you want babies for? You can't even afford to buy your wife shoes!

I like Strange, it's psychologicly spooky enough to excuse the deeply dodgy "special" effects. Maybe they're supposed to enhance the personality of the show, like those little floating specs are supposed to do to homebrew.
Last week... Fine, untill the bus-riding vampire lady came in...

I didn't say insect, though. I said invertibrate. Therefore, arachnids count, but not reptiles. What about that mutant scorpion lady?

Actualy, if you switch the lights out, they get bored and leave. It's great, having no IR signature.

I accidentaly left my window open for an hour, and now my entire ceiling is a seething mass of flies, moths, spiders and mosquitoes. What's so good about houses? Why don't they build their own? Where did I put my flamethrower?

Is there much alternative?
Kids comics have terrible art and storylines, Warhammer is for Games Workshop wierdoes (I buy it, so don't shout at me!), most other comics only focus on one character/group of characters and are rediculously overpriced.
And 2K has more lesbians, page for page, than any other comic.

Why did they get rid of them? People just love making things difficult for themselves.

Eww, poor you Malkymac! Something like that happened to me, one evening I had a mosquito bite between my shoulderblades, the next morning it looked like someone had tried to remove burn scars with a blowtorch.
The doctor prescribed moisturiser, and you know what? It worked! She never told me WHAT it was...
