Even better, from my point of view at least, is the Harry Beck documentary at 10.

Title: EE suggestions

Just picked up EE 21 and loved it, size, price, and content. Have a new comicshop owner I'm ordering from and I thought I would test him by having him order some of the older issues of EE, four say. I know I want 16 and 18. Pregnant gangsters and CIA massacring polar bears, no brainer. Not sure about the other two issues. Hivemind what do you say?

Shouldn't worry too much, they repeat everything on BBC4 quite soon, I had to miss the whole thing but can post here if I notice it on again.

Harry Beck was a god.  When I was a pointless stoodunt I spent several very happy months trying (and failing) to come up with a schematic map of commuting flows around Dublin, weighted for traffic volume, and used Beck's work as a model.  I came away from it all awestruck with his vision, and the clarity of his execution.  My map looked like a drunken ant had fallen onto an artist's pallette.
