ill agree with you about morgan freeman.
but i still hate the art alot.

Oddboy

Heh - yeah I noticed that.

Tales of the Leviathan - a strange little item, I thought. More D'Izzy art can only be a good thing, and Hastur is a fantastic monster. Storywise, I'm not sure what it was supposed to be.  Fantastic, certainly, but I was expecting Tales of.. to be set on the ship, but not really tied into the plot of the main series the way it was. This was pretty much a prequel, but one that *should* be shown after the main story, as it's pretty spoilerific otherwise.

Left & right elbow grease indeed - the old scabby bastards. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kathan/chicka/dreddcon5/06hastur.jpg">

Is this the first Tales from the Leviathan published in the weekly???  I've not seen anything of it before.

First "Tales of the Leviathan" but there was "Leviathan" - a 10 part serial running in Summer 2003 (progs 1351-1360).

Enjoyed quite a lot of things about this prog.

I had a chubby by the end of the Dredd story so well done that artist (despite the photo ref of Morgan Freeman and was it a cross between Steve Buscemi and William H macy for the hubby).

I thought the Leviathan thing was a bit pointless (apart from the art).

Cabals was great - somebody explain why Arthur's name is in a story and it's not an insult directed at him?

Contrary to what Smiley thought, Robohunter actually convinced me that this reinvention just wasn't working.  I'm holding back judgement on Second City Blues just now.

And hey, my wife just got me a subscription for Christmas.  Yay!
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

Buddy

Just seen the cover up close.

It's SHYTE!

Dudley

Well noticed, Bolt! (bored much?)

I really can't decide about the cover, so I'll cop out and say... brave.

Dredd wasn't the greatest Blimp strip ever, but Oola - oooh la la...

Caballistics was everything I was hoping it'd be - series, please, Mr Tharg!

Sin/Dex, once again, was really quite good.

Slaine, AS PREDICTED, was shit, shyte, shite, dog poo, a godawful mess... how many more weeks this time?

Robo-Hunter's definitely moved up a notch.  Hopeful sign for the future, I guess.

Leviathan was almost as much of a disappointment as last year's Monsters of Rock strip.

Second City Blues... reserving judgement.

Dante was storming!  Please!  More!

Alien Invasions were evey bit as good as last year.

Droid Life's back!  YAYYYYYYYY!

Damn fine prog, overall.
