Just came through the post and it is a new character for me..

Bad City Blue anyone?
Fronm the cover it looks like Meltdown Man, but I guess that's because Cliff Robinson has gone to town on it again.

The two fillers I have read before though - Silo which I thought was a very creepy story at the time and Tribal Memories, another unusual Tooth story.

Some interesting choices here. Going to look forward to reading it.

Seeing Time Twisters' Dr and Quinch opening page made me wish they had filled with that story.

Yay! Bad city blue was in the first prog I got and I enjoyed it as a 10 year old.. Always fancied reading Silo.

Tribal Memories was a bit stinky though.

I heart Tribal Memories. Silo was better than I remembered, despite the riffs borrowed from The Shining and Die Hard.

Bad City Blue: a bold choice, and a sudden and definite ending, if I remember correctly. I can't remember why the futuristic Bill Savage is riding around on a giant frisbee being attacked by tentacled robots - was it a sort of hi-tech Omega Man type thing?

Silo was interesting, and confusing. Dark stuff, if I recall. One of the arguable hits of a much maligned (often by me) script droid.

Tribal Memories is one of the all-time classic greats of 2000AD. It came out of nowhere, didn't overstay it's welcome, it's beatifully drawn and incredibly thought-provoking. If you don't appreciate it, then you're dead from the neck up.

Overly preachy...just like the story. I read it not too long ago and just thought "meh".

Now The Dead on the other hand...

Can someone remind me what Silo was? Is there a pic anywhere to jog my memory?

Tribal Memories was a great story!I'm glad the'yre reprinting Bad City Blue as that appeared the year I (foolishly) stopped buying 2000ad, so I've yet to read it.

It was about two men in stuck down in a silo - IIRC, one goes a bit mental & the other one has to fear for his life.
