Regrettably, I'm got a large tax bill looming, so I've put two pieces of original art up for sale on eBay. If my web fu fails me, just go to ebay.co.uk and search for 2000AD original art, that should get you to my listings.

The pieces in question are Jim Murray's cover painting of Ukko as a court jester from Prog 1011; and the Jim Murray-Jason Brashill-Steve Sampson "jam" painting of the Space Girls, from the back cover of the Sex Prog.

I've put large price tags on both of these as I want them to find a good home. If they don't sell, I won't be too upset either - just thinking about parting with them is a horrible wrench.

Hi Bish-OP,

Hope your course is going well. Over the years you popped some great artwork on ebay (I wish I could afford that Ukko cover!) Could you give us an idea of some of the 2000ad based items do you still posess and which are your faves?

Hope this isn't too cheeky and I promise I'm not planning on burgling your house!

Are these "perks" of the job in the same way I have a massive pen collection from the office?
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?

The Ukko is a lovely piece although I don't know if the Space Girls a must have for anyone? ;)
