Hi,have been clearing out my attic as I need to declutter and check for leaks and came across the remenants of my early 2000's prog collection
Sadly the majority of these are now on the way to the recycling center as all my local charity shop have refused them, but I did keep to one side a battered copy of prog 1208 if any-one wants to buy/trade for one to complete their collection
Thanks
Matt

Would the rights to the strip belong to Dan Dare corporation now due to the main story being continued and ending in Eagle?
80's u.k comics where amazing for their under the radar horror,House of Daemon in Eagle put me right off mirrors as a lad and I'm pretty sure I remember Battle had a story called the Nightmare where two covers are stuck in my memory
One of the plucky young British hero having a luger pointed at his head by an evil S.S man ready to pull the trigger and the other of our school boy hero about to be crushed by a jagdpanther? With that same S.S guy shouting 'run him down'
Also the issue of Tiger with Blake Edmunds looking at his hideous face in the mirror and screaming, its even worse than before in full colour glory

Thanks for the heads up on the rare replay disc Indigoprime, the years 83-86 tick the box for the games I wanted to play.
Managed to pick a copy up for pennys and although my Xbox is out of action at the moment at least I have a hardcopy of these classics to play at somepoint.

Stick monty is innocent on that cart and that would be an unbeatable lineup
I see now why an ultimate cart is problematic, but what a waste oF i.p there, shades of the dan dare corperation for me with so many ideas awaiting remastering or rereleasing.
That Gremlin cart is a perfect example of why I am more often than not disapointed with the evercade in that you often have to buy a cart with several games you have no interest in to get two you do e.g codemasters collection Vol 1 for cannonfodder and sensible soccer

Aww no very sad to hear Network as folded, used to look forward to their summer and winter sales and picked up some good niche stuff from them
I recommend Beasts,Quatermass and the intruder for thoses looking for a hit of 70's,80's wierdness and Big bread winner hog for a slice of hardboiled, nasty late 60s u.k gangster action

The Tatio one is a day one purchase for me,17 solid games including New Zealand Story and bubble bobble
This is what I wanted from the Evercade, which for me apart from the Dizzy and bitmap bro cartridges has been a little bit of a disapointment as what I wanted was something that ported the Retro arcade into my pocket rather than lots of fighting and indy games.
Good that you can still use evercade carts on this.

Hi,
While sorting out some of my old T-shirts that my wife had stored to use in a craft project I discovered two Judge Dredd T-shirts that had been produced for Burtons Mensware (where we used to shop for clothes before the internet for those under 40)
One is a Warhol style print of Judge dredd faces by Brett ewins the other is the McMahon cover (your next punk) to prog 148
They have a distressed style to give them a vintage look
These are not knock offs and i've no idea what year I got them or why Burtons had a license to sell Dredd merch
Anyway would these be of any interest to anyone i've no idea if they have any value so open to offers/trade for them
They will be going into the washing machine as they have been stored for along time and I am happy to take photos once thats done so you can have a look at them
Sorry for the long post thanks for reading

Steve,
Thanks, that's grand.
Had the opportunity to meet Carlos in 2014 and got him to sketch Major Eazy for me and sign my collected edition of same, remember he had a sign saying he had original art for sale then at the convention but was to star struck to ask to have a look and thought it was probably outside my price range anyway.
Still kicking myself two years later.

Hippynumberone,
Some lovely bits of art in your collection, love the Bryan Talbot nemesis sketches, my absolute favourite artist for the character.

Steve thanks for replying,

Black and white strontium dog and stainless steel rat stuff definitely the kind of things I'm interested in, as a big Battle fan I would also be interested in some of the stuff he did in battlefields with Garth Ennis (tankies)
Some lovely tiger tank vs firefly art in that if I recall correctly.
Regarding contacting skullmo am I ok to private message him? I realise I carry low credit within the community as a new member so don't want to break forum etiquette so early on.
