Back in the days when Pat Mills, Bolland & MacMahon were busy creating the Cursed Earth story, who made the decision to use the Matchbox 'K2001 Raider Command' toy as the model for the 'K2001 Land Raider and Killdozer' featured in the story? Any specific reasons the vehicle was chosen, besides looking cool?And did IPC pay an sort of licencing fee to Matchbox for the rights to use the image of the toy? Just curious, that's all.
