Bad City Blue

Hiya

Been a little snowed under (without any actual snow) so merry new Year and all that to all of you.

If you haven't yet written a Twothy limerick for the comp, why not have a go!

http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php/topic,41386.15.html

Please note that only PROPER limericks will be entered into the voting part, so don't be too clever and write non rhyiming, too short or even too long ones.

one verse, five lines etc etc

Thryllseekyr posts stuff on the forum
As Much as we try to ignore 'im.
His love of Slain (sp)
Is just so insane
We just can't but help but adore 'im.
You may quote me on that.

ZenArcade

priceless KP.

There is a big City out east
Where they say reigns Justice and peace
Many muties have went
Only to return ruined and spent
Damning it as the lair of the beast

There was an old man called Dredd
Who long ago should of been dead
If the perps had been quick
Or a tad less thick
He'd be napping in dirt for a bed.

(Probably doesn't give the old man enough credit, but I think the limerick just about works...)

EDIT- Just realised I probably should have posted it in the thread linked to above. Which I've just done. (Suggest you guys do the same...)

I never knew non-rhyming limericks would not be voteable. Will we also be excluding Limericks that do not conform to the appropriate metre?
It's a joke. I was joking.

Oh yes, it's a limerick competition, so only limerick's qualify.

There was a young Stront called John Alpha
But nothing rhymes with Aplha,
So I stopped

may be mildly amusing, but it ain't a limerick

Would this qualify? Although it is in the format the metre is off

There once was a stront named middenface
whose blaster aim was all over the place
try as he might
he couldn't get it right
but it was because he was off his face

It's a joke. I was joking.

I really enjoyed the anti-limericks (particularly Skullmo's) but I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. Will Goosegash's brilliant entry count? It does at least end with an implied rhyme.
