'Strips 78' - the programme. I recently heard Tim Quinn call this the best comics convention he'd ever been too - see precisely what Dez Skinn, Dave Gibbons & others helped organise back in September 1978

I've completed my covers gallery for Marvel UK's 'Worzel Gummidge weekly' - now extended to include all the issues of 'Rupert weekly' that included Worzel in the title.

More original Eric Parker artwork - these appear to have been done on holiday for his own pleasure rather than as roughs for comic illustrations

A new strand on my research into 'Clearmark' comics - here's issue 2 of their 'Henry's Cat - fun to cook' publication - anyone know anything more about this? Or any other Clearmark comics I might have missed? Thanks!

Some of Jim Baikie's art for 2000AD art got auctioned off yesterday - lovely Skizz & Chopper pages. Congratulations if you were the winning bidder.

Very nice. That episode of Judge Dredd: Oz is burnt into my memory. Skizz I don't remember too well but looks lovely. On the other pieces, it's remarkable to obtain some original art for just £10! Batman and Dredd no less!

that 3rd piece was described as prints but may have been original art - if so, somebody got a bargain!

'Ham Dare' is probably my favourite 'Dan Dare' parody strip - this original art by Malcolm Douglas (from a script by Lew Stringer) is stop class. All images from a recent sale by Lew.

It would be nice if we could one day get a proper reprint. That might be wishful thinking since I think the Dan Dare Corporation owns the rights (DDC = francize killers)
When I die, I want to die like my grandfather who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car.
