DoomBot

Bored for 45 minutes and this is the result:   :D

Mardroid

Very sexy and incredible, particularly considering the 45 minute time frame. (Even if you'd taken longer it'd be good.)

Cassie wouldn't be out undressed like that though. ;)

Enjoying sketch session tonight... this wee Dredd popped by for a visit.

DoomBot

Good sketch Neil. Don't know if it was a conscious decision to leave the gun unfinished but it's quite effective

IAMTHESYSTEM

Like an early Brendon McCarthy or Mike McMahon. Great line work Neil.

Cheers my dears! :) @Doombot - yeah, I was considering paining it up a bit, so was imagining a smoking gun/watery colory thing. Also, it was 3am... :)

Been using some of my 10 minute portraits for inking practice, gets me nice and loose (ahem):

SuperSurfer

These are great mygrimmbro'. What kind of brush pen did you ink them with? I bought one over the weekend. If I ever get round to drawing I might try it out.

mygrimmbrother

Cheers Supes, it's the old Pentel brush pen - absolutely swear by it.

Colin YNWA

Wow. I love the way you've kept the urgency and energy from the pencils. Those are really good. So few inkers that I see can do that. Inks can swamp the raw punch of pencils so often. Not those. Brilliant stuff.

IAMTHESYSTEM

That David Lynch is uncanny!

Great stuff fellas. Love that Dredd Neil.

I took the plunge and joined the Weekly Themed Art Blog for a bit of impetus in the tablet scratching stakes. X-Men this week and I tried an "Apocalypse", shamefully had no idea who he was until I asked a mate for suggestions of non-movie villains. I left it in "pencils" blue 'cause none of the more finished black and white ones I tried had the same menace. Think I'll sketch straight into B&W from now on.

Found this while clearing some stuff out of my parent's loft. I think it's from about 2006-2007, a half-finished piece for one of the early froum art comps.
