Title: It's Christmas Time....
Post by: Leigh S on 16 November, 2004, 04:15:30 AM
But I am still very, very afraid... why?

Because there's still no news on the end of year prog!  Any idea when the previews for Prog 2004/Meg 227 are going up in the news section ?

It's Christmas Time....

Not yet it isn't - it's not even Advent. My dad's still got a birthday before any real thought can be given to Christmas time...

Date returns in the Christmas Prog, with John Burns on the art. That's definite.

I think Slaine also returns, another Langleyfest.

I think I heard that The All New V.C.'s returns a fourth time with the same creators as last time.

I'd be shocked if there wasn't a Sinister Dexter text story.

"Not yet it isn't - it's not even Advent."

What's wrong with you, man? a bunch of our premier musical stars are right now telling us it's Christmas Time (for charitable reasons no less, and for no pay or personal award whatsoever), and you're throwing it back in their faces with your pedantry??

Honestly, the youth of today...

So... it's pretty much a repeat of Prog 2004?

You know Jen is right. The fact that prog 2004 has been out for a year makes a preveiw redundant.

Bah - You see what I mean?  No respect for their elders...

I've read Previews, so I have an inkling, but I'd like to see some art previews, like last year...

they wont let us down.
it will be great.

but the real thrill is the megazine christmas edition. last year it was so hands down bloody brillant.

im hoping for another superb christmas dredd story.
the turkey one was for me the best christmas dredd script ever featured and there have been some damn good ones over the years.

I was wondering if Tharg has taken a tip from Alan Barnes, and is starting to keep his cards close to his chest so there can be some real surprises in Prog 2005?  After all, there were some great reactions to, e.g., Devlin's surprise return.
