am In the only one who can't see the picture above? What teaser? What helmet? :x

I feel like the short guy at the back of the crowd bouncing up and down shouting "What's happening? What's going on?"

each part on it's own would be an unusual tattoo, but what sort of strange mind puts them together?

Quote from: "Mardroid"Wow! They're really going for the sixties look aren't they? Although the bridge itself looks very different. (That's not a complaint, the Enterprise gets refitted from time to time after all.)

I thought this picture was interesting:

That link say I don't have perrmission! in fact, it was quite abrupt: " Forbidden". How rude :o

I think the cast look great, but the bridge looks too high-tech - surely it should be somewhere between 'Enterprise' and Original Series - that looks way too futurey, but it's hard to tell from that one narrow view.

My god, I'm glad I don't live in 'Byrneland'. I really can't be bothered trawling through the millions of awful pages on his site to unearth these gems, so I applaud the dedication of fellow boarders for finding them and exposing them for our amusement :D . That competition sounds like it could suck the fun out of ever reading comics again, let alone drawing them. My fave quote; "no less than THREE (3) human figures". Cheers for clearing up that numerical confusion there, JB.

And Johnnystress - wow! (I'm so glad I read further down before posting my "but he IS facing the right way, idiot" post.)

For the first time ever in one of these, every choice is a no-brainer for my tastes.

It gotta be - CAL, KREELMAN, TORQUEMADA & DEATH - they've won my votes throughout, whilst out of the opponents, I'd only ever voted for the Tsar, and he just don't cut it in this exalted company!

Not so keen on the background choons this time tho. :(

I always remember the judge's name because someone with the same name wrote to Tharg - I wonder if Mr Souster keeps up with 2000ad? - maybe he looks at this board - maybe he's one of YOU guys! Fess up!

Done and dusted. :D Cheers for the tip Tweak.

Also begun my JD casefile collection with vol1- never considered these really, cos I have all the progs, but they're piled up in a loft miles away, so not a lot of use! If I get one or two a month (and maybe a few at Crimble), shouldn't take me long to build up a formidable Dredd-library

I'm impressed Mr Godpleton! Not only running another poll, but with the addition of incidental music - class! 8-)
Very atmospheric choices too, just right when making tough villainy-choices! Was this a perceived need to 'up the ante' after I shamelessly nicked your idea and ran the robot poll?

as for votes:

STIX- kill one, and more appear! Besides, Orlok fell in love with Anderson and went all soppy.
TORQUEMADA- can't argue with extermination on a galactic scale
TSAR VLADIMIR MAKAROV- we all thought Pa Romanov was nasty until we met Vlad!
CAL- once again, gotta go for scale of ambition - sentenced the whole city to death
JUDGE DEATH- A tough one cos I like PJ, but Sidney is pure evil
THE LLOIGOR - spreading wickedness beyond this plane of reality
MAX BUBBA- Old one eye wasn't evil, just a poor hungry animal - aaaaah!
KREELMAN- Murd may have killed JD, but NBK could easilly exist in reality, and that's WAY scarier!

Absolutely.

I crapped myself the first time - I thought I must have done something to deserve a Rigellian Hotshot!

Wow, if we haven't already seen the winner, there must be some incredible pics to come! Lovely stuff so far.

So to lower the bar a bit...

I tried drawing the whole thing but my Dredd-groin just wasn't working out, so went for a photomontage.

I had better ideas, but they're way beyond my artistic ability - required making 2 or more characters instantly recognisable out of usual costume.

QuoteThere's currently a tie between Cheetl, the Lloigor, the Voices and Kazan. I'm keeping this open till 10:00 and if I have to I'll cast the deciding vote since I have yet to vote in this round.

It's gotta be pan-dimensional ultrabeings over Stalinesque pastiches and dodgy fatcats (and I can't remember who Mr Cheetl is! No doubt it'll come to me after I've posted)

VOTE LLOIGOR!

Now watch - three more dissenting posts in the next 10 mins and we're back to square one!

Congrats!!

One more piece of advice.. whilst on honeymoon, DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME ON COMICS MESSAGE-BOARDS!!!
