Sorry to make your sons sad - makes me feel like a right b*st*rd that does.

I can see this thread becoming like one of those old WWII UXBs that turns up every now and again, causing pain and misery for generations to come...

Three Men in a Boat is a great read - also the sequel, Three Men on the Bummel, is a great  read too. Highly recommended.

Why not write a *polite* letter to the Practice Head outlining your concerns? If things continue in an unsatisfactory manner, it's good to have a paper trail proving that you have acted honourably and in the best interests of your father throughout.

Most of all, I wish your dad well.

Makes you wonder why we all put up with such a system. It's supposed to work for us, not against us - or is that just me being naive?

Colin MacNeil's in the room.

If you haven't been in before (or for a while), why not drop by and say hello? Just follow the instructions at www.paltalk.com and find us listed under: Miscellaneous/Other/Rowdy Yates Block Citizens' Yap Shop. We'd be happy to see you!

Also, Colin MacNeil's in the room.

Well, we're just about half way through the Yapping and what have we learned so far? Well, Jared probably isn't evil and Adrian Bamforth is interested in famous monkeys.

Good evening everyone. The Rowdy Yates Block Citizens' Yap Shop is open for business. No wallies in here, nuh-huh, so the jays won't get to eavesdrop. Jared is not an undercover judge. Not one bit. Oh no.

Was that all right, Mr Dredd, Sir? Ouch. Thanks.
