You imagined it.
Get Robbie writing then :)

When it's gone, it's gone. Lets not give it a chance to resurface. Go out on a high all guns blazing. This is a series that doesn't need a Christ syndrome.

Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

I think he was just suggesting that Dante deserves an epilogue as it's been running so long.

Yep. Not suggesting they 'Return of the King' it or anything.

Almost at the end of my re-read of Dante, just having finished Vol 10 of the TPBs, Hero of the Revolution - and it has been a truly fantastic experience.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that volume in particular is one of the most incredibly accomplished comics I have ever read.  That the latter part of a long-running series could easily eclipse any earlier part of it, in terms of emotional impact, genuine excitement and artistic flair, is an incredible achievement.

I now have complete faith that Robbie, Simon and Gary will see us all to an end that is every bit as spectacular as advertised.
