I've just finished my son's costume for this year's Thought Bubble.



It's been created using a prototype of the Planet Replicas helmet (small size). And a Planet Replicas buckle, pouch emblems and an early prototype badge.

Everything else is either a modified 'found item' or scratch built.

I've tried to stick as close to the Planet Replicas official design as possible.

And how is visibility for him?  I hope he's not in danger of any mishaps.

[Thought - you could do some great comedy pictures with this - e.g. big Dredd and little Dredd, or have two big hefty guys handcuffed and on their knees and elbows with a 'dwarf' Dredd pointing his daystick at them as if sentencing them after taking them down.]

The visibility in the helmet is very good, though I do need to change the tint material for something better.

Yes King Tout, I was inspired at Hi-Ex! and the idea has been growing and growing, until I noticed he fit the smaller helmet, then it was all systems go!

She's nearly six now. I seriously doubt she would co-operate with any such shenanigans now. She's only interested in comics about princesses.
