Interesting news about the IDW deal and continuity with our Dreddverse:

Very interesting.

Not very good news for us fans (and regular consumers) of continuity cake but interesting. Will the meg be the same? Who'll be the chief judge? If this is a continuity 'reboot' will Dredd be younger, and will that mean reboots of Rico, the Angel Gang etc etc etc etc

etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Not loads new there but 'Hardback Treasury Editions' given IDWs track record could be very very nice. Just image if they did an Artist's Edition like they're doing with 'Born Again' (https://shop.idwpublishing.com/david-mazzucchelli-daredevil-born-again-artists-edition-pre-order.html) with say some McMahon or Bolland Dredd would be bloody exciting to say the least!

I was sort of hoping that the IDW Dredd stories would be along the line of the new Dredd movie, that way continuity with the prog & meg history would not matter. Still, as long as it's drawn well I'll probably buy it anyway.

Interesting what Pat Mills says about Matt which is really nice to hear.

That the US version is seperate from the UK 2000AD 'world' is good news as well as they can both exist but it does mean that I will need to buy all the US editions as well!!
