Okay, they weren't that great (although the odd story was readable). But the completist in me would still like to see them collected one day...

An excellent collection and nice end to the Restricted Files series. But as an absolute completist, I missed the Judge Dredd stories from the Playstation Poster Prog (free with 2000ad 1068), Placebo (free with 1405) and Funeral For A friend (Meg 219). I don't suppose these three strips will find a home anywhere else and it was a shame they did not make it in. On the whole though, a worthy collection.

Thanks for the heads-up, Vark. I was indeed referring to the Battle of Clontarf and Arrow of God. Really hoping these will be re-printed at sometime in the Slaine series! I'll still be buying this latest volume though.

Are there any bonus stories included in this volume? I was particularly hoping for the two Slaine stories that appeared in 2000ad Annuals. There are also two Dice Man strips which will hopefully see the re-print treatment at some time.

If this is the place to point out corrections and omissions, I'd just like to add: In the Judge Dredd Yearbook 1994, the Mean Machine story 'Judgement on Gosham' by Wagner and McMahon is not included. Thank you.

Not sure where to post this, hope here is okay.
Does anyone know if 'Slaine: Demon Killer' has gone to a subsequent printing with the Dice Man strip error rectified? (I own a 1st print, but admit I am a stickler for such things!)
Thanks.

Wonder which are going to be the missing bits? Perhaps this refers to all those appearances of Anderson which do not come under her own title. I sincerely hope that all her solo stories, both in Prog and Meg, will eventually see the light in this format. Maybe the powers that be can enlighten us as to which bits will be omitted?

I feel a bit stupid, but how do you navigate to the 'coming soon' page when you have first gone to 2000adonline.com? I thought that this feature had been discontinued when the whole website was updated as I couldn't find it anymore. Perhaps IndigoPrime or some other kind soul could say?
Thanks.

Does anyone have a list of all Mean Machine's solo appearances? I remember seeing it a while back on a former post, but cannot now find it. Perhaps the helpful person who made that post will see this??
Thanks.

Does anyone know whether the Slaine: Book of Invasions mistake with the page order was rectified in later printings?

Grateful if someone could let me know.

Were there ever any Saturday Star Dredds? Will they be included?

General / Slaine Enquiry
« on: 12 March, 2010, 06:57:19 PM »
Whilst leafing through an old 2000ad Sci-Fi Special, I came across an advert for 'Slaine: King Of Hearts'. This was described as a 48 page deluxe special which was scheduled to come out in Autumn 1996. Does anyone out there happen to know anything about this? Is it a reprint from 2000ad material or an original story?

All answers gratefully received.

Website and Forum / Re: 2000 AD Online - Vault Database Issues
« on: 11 December, 2009, 04:26:51 PM »
I am hoping that this is the correct place to post this - if not, my sincerest apologies!
The problem seems to be with accessing the Vaults database for the Megazines. Unlike for the Progs where every number can be reached, the display for the Megs only shows the most recent ones and when you click to see earlier issues, it just repeats the same page. There also appears to be no 'NEXT' feature for the Megs.

Suggestions / Complete Case Files to be REALLY Complete.
« on: 10 July, 2008, 05:29:02 PM »
Hi There,

Does anyone in 2000ad-land agree with me that it is a real shame that the Complete Case Files of Judge Dredd do not seem to be re-printing all the stories which appeared in the various Sci-Fi and Winter Specials, Annuals and Poster Progs that have graced us over the years. The exceptions have been, of course, the stories from the 1979 2000AD Annual and, most recently, from the 1985 Sci-Fi Special, but the omens don't look good at all that they will all be in there eventually. Perhaps some may see this as a minor point; but I personally like to see all loose ends tied up and all worthy stories (which they all are) included in collections. (It would also save me trying to hunt down nice copies of these issues on Ebay which feature these extra stories!)
And just to annoy me, the Nemesis Poster Prog story did not make it into the third volume of The Complete Nemesis when it really couldn't have cost much to include it.

Regards
