Niemamd definitely developing a stable of characters

Why are they not investigating?
Clearly Copper is taking the fall for someone higher up  and even Dredd and Buell aren't placed to take on the top of the SJS...yet

Side note: Has there been an SJS story where they aren't the bad guys?

They literally have skulls on their helmets

"Are we the baddies?"

Is it me, or is the paper different?

It certainly seems to be all the talk of Facebook. I didn't notice - and now the Prog is in the nerdcave so can't check - bit defo seems to be a difference and if you take Facebook opinion as of any value, not for the good either.

If you take Facebook opinion as being of value it should probably still be in black and white on bog roll

I think bringing it in Prog Dredd, not the Mega City Zero version, has improved their comics a lot

Their other version was enjoyable, but not really Dredd - three kid sidekicks...?

Anyone else reading IDW Dredd?
Just received and read the last issue of False Witness
Good story, good art, right in main continuity, with a couple of tweaks could have slotted into the Prog or Meg with no problem
While I enjoyed the elseworlds IDW Dredd, looks like they've got some good "real" Dredd going at the moment

Prog / Re: Prog 2220 Regened: Earth-Shattering

So, do we think Regened now has enough good stories to become a monthly in its own right?
Cadet Dredd
Dept K
Pandora Perfect
Full Tilt Boogie (if there's more to go in that)
Future Shocks - remember this is aimed at new, probably YA, readers so things us oldies see as cliched may be new to others (something I think most times there's a SF film that gets huge critic credibility, like Ad Astra - it's only because I've been reading this stuff for 40 years it seems old!)

Viva Forever and Action Pact maybe?

Really enjoyed the prog, Chimpsky  good fun, Stront feeling a good fit despite no John or Carlos, Proteus Vex off to a flyer, so's Durham Red, even enjoyed Survival Geeks (and presumably means it can never come back?)

But can anyone explain why I'm ok with Hershey being back and on a mission but I'm disappointed they've resurrected Dirty Frank?

2209 just turned up but first comment is that its nice to see Tharg getting a little dig in via the Damage Report

So, some thoughts and some responses to the OP

Dredd - feels like there are  few "interlude" stories - enjoyed this, and think Dredd being useless is increasingly the point?

Stickleback - like the art but when the story refers to events more than ten years in the  past (I haven't recently read it all) its a bit of a stretch

Skip Tracer - again like the art but struggling to get a handle on the character over the various stories, each story feels too disconnected from the last - did enjoy them springing the manga makeover on all the people wondering about the art last week though

Fiends - feels like it could be from the Mignola Hellboy universe - but that's a good thing

Hookjaw - interesting concept, glad they took out the idiot who was "controlling" the spirit or whatever it is

Seriously, get the podcasts, and read Lawless with the soundtrack ...
