Quote from: mimikeke on 12 October, 2014, 10:39:13 AMYou should listen to Agalloch.

Yes, I should have. If I had taken this post in fully at the time, I would have.

But no, I didn't. Until about 6 months ago when they came up somewhere else and I thought I'd have a listen.

9 f'ing years of missed listening to them - brilliant music, especially "Ashes Against The Grain"

Anyone who fancies a bit of post-rock..."The night is for dreamers" by 'Din of Celestial Birds"

How's Season 6 been for everybody, then? All settled in for the final episode on Tuesday?

Oh if we're going with Cummings then surely it has to be his sprint down Downing Street that last time anyone saw him for weeks?

A proper "Fuckity bye" moment.

Gerard Kenny is one of the co-writers of the song "I could be so good for you", also known as the theme tune for Minder. What is the first name of the other co-writer, whose surname is 'Waterman'?
Patricia - Dennis didn't write feem tune, he only sang the feem tune
Which country has won the most Olympic Gold medals for baseball?
Cuba
With which country does France have its longest continuous land border?
Brazil - Mainland France's longest border is with Spain, at 408 miles, but French Guiana, a French overseas territory, has a border with Brazil measuring 450 miles
As a staunch 'MetalHead', I should feel guilty about some of the stuff I like to listen to. But I don't actually feel guilty about any of the following:

Bomb the Bass - Don't make me wait

Britney Spears - Toxic (one of the best pop songs ever)

Probably the single piece of TV drama that has stuck with me more than anything I've watched since childhood. I've only seen it once, and it regularly replays itself in my head.

It's the sudden "Oh f**k" moment you have once it registers...stunning piece of work.

Sobering moment this evening when I got home from work - my kids (11 and 9) asked if there was anything they could do to help with what is going on.

A little chat later, and they have got text together for a leaflet for them to put through the letterboxes of the estate we are on, offering help to anyone who needs it. Popped it up on the Facebook group for the estate, got a long list of names & numbers to add to the list and volunteers to help distribute the leaflets.

Kids are great.

Session 1 result:

Ran into time issues unfortunately, leaving the remaining colour work on Death to be done in the 3rd session  when leg has fully healed, along with Mortis getting worked on too.

Session 2 tomorrow - all day from 9:30 through to 5:30, with a 1-hour break for lunch. Aim is to get as much of Fear done as possible.

Looking at a 4th session in May to finish off anything needed on Fear, and get a start on Fire.

Roll on 12th March.

As a result of a cancellation, the first session is now Saturday coming and not 3 weeks from now :D

10:30 through to 5pm, and I can't bloody wait to see how much we get done!!

Matt Berry was an inspired bit of casting.

I really shouldn't laugh as much as I do at "BAT!!"
