I think i remember reading a few years back about Alan Grant saying that he could ask for credit for a lot of the original Rogue Trooper stories as he would have to rewrite a lot of Gerry Finely Day's scripts to make them fit and work and Pat Mills said he also had to edit some of Gerry's other work as well. So should writers who have been asked to go over another writers script be given credit as well

you geta brief glimps of the world just after the disaster at the start then it's showing you the characters living their lives setting up who they were and what they did before, with small hints on what is about to happen with different animals behaviour and dead animal bodies about in different areas.Towards the end you get the extinction of all men and a glimps of the chaos around just as it happens. But most of it is just the main characters background storylines being established for what their roles will be in the other episode

It probably will work better when watched with episodes 2&3

Film & TV / Y the Last Man on Disney+

Just been to the UK premier of Disney+'s new show Y the Last Man based on  Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra 2002-08 Vertigo comic of the same name set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious cataclysmic event simultaneously killed every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one man, Yorick Brown

The first 3 episodes will be released of 22nd September with the other episodes being released every  Wednesday.

Not much happens in the first episode as it is just setting up the world and the characters just before the men all die, but it is well acted feels like it is going to be a good series

Canadian horror comedy movie with killer Jeans. A new type of jeans are just about to be launched in a ultra trendy fashion store that have the ability to automatically mold to anyone's body shape. As the staff work over night to set the store for the launch of the jeans one pair comes alive after being put on crushing them inhalf and then go on a killing spree in the store.

It's basic B movie horror film that trys to loosely say something about how the fashion industry uses sweatshops and GMOs whilst promoting a humanitarian and effical image

Yeah never seen this but Mark Waid and Barry Kitson is quite the team. Wonder how I missed this one!

Empire originally came out in 2000 through Gorilla comics but only printed 2 issues. In 2003 it was picked up by DC which published the two original comics as #0 and then the rest of the story was told over six issues. A 4 issue sequel came out in 2015 via IDW Empire: Uprising as DC had let the rights lapse in 2014

I'm not sure if this has been mentiond before but whilst in Gosh Comics! I noticed that they had a copy of Rick Random: Fleetway Picture Library Classics. Probably best remembered here as the page filler in the early annuals. Even though not released by Rebellion it still has the Treasury of British Comics logo on the back cover
