If it's online, count me in... otherwise, I'll raise a glass with you in spirit.

I'll certainly be raising a jar in his name tonight, and would certainly joint a virtual Shedcon if one is to be forthcoming.

Dropping back from long term lurking to drop my Condolences to all of Bolt's family and friends.
Much like Mike I met Dave at Dreddcon and probably drank far too much beer over the next few years with him at various cons, Bristol and others.

I last saw him briefly at the 40th and my big regret is that I was feeling so crappy that i left early and didn't get chance to catch up with people properly.

Rest In Peace feller.

I dunno. For me, it was a bolt from the blue after that Facebook update. So cruel after he clearly thought he was out of the woods.
I think that's what made it worse for me too. So cruel to have him taken away after that brief moment of hope.

Sitting here feeling gutted that I ended up tapping out at about 4pm as I was feeling so ropey that I didn't even feel like queuing for sketches or grabbing photos.

That said it was an amazingly well run con and everyone I did run into seemed to be having a good time.

Did get a print from the great Ian Kennedy and my Sean Phillips print signed by himself (criminally he had no queue!) as well as a signed copy of Mac-1's autobiography.

My only consolation is that I got 12 hours of booze free sleep on Saturday night and spent Sunday feeling much more human.

Anyone else notice that the dates in the Prologue post-date the dates in the latter parts?

Shame it couldn't be done at a jumping on prog, rather than a few weeks into storylines and even those are continuations of ongoing stories.

That was basically my thought.  Great Dredd, great publicity, would have been nice to have the other stories in a position to draw newcomers in, but that's not Molchers fault  :D

Remember that the basis for the Undercity can be found in Edinburgh where they did just concrete over teh existing streets and build ontop.

The 'Reptilian Warrios' of Mars must be The Ice Warriors from Doctor Who! I've already fangazemd as I write this, love tit bits like that.

More likely the Tharks from the John Carter of Mars novels.

Again, PJ has posted quite a lot in the last couple of days on his Twitter stream about MS5

Some good stuff there - hopefully he can condense it somewhere useful!

Was Judge Smiley in that H-Wagon that picked up Dirty Frank when he can in from the cold?  ;)

That's my thinking of it.  So was that an early black ops mission ?

Well finally managed to read through uninterrupted and overall pretty great.

I've some unease about the deus ex machina nature of Frank's contribution, but that's assuaged by Frank's realisation of just that.

No groundbreaking changes to the status quo either but some interesting teasers of where things will go Dredd / Hershey, What did Frank see in the Blizzard, Smiley's future

Also has Bachmann really been around that long?
