The only confirmation we've had, so far, is via the FB page. Subscribers have not actually been informed that their subs will be continuing past 80 issues yet.

Okay gonna go for the full set:

Travellers and explorers - Cyd
Mega City Judges - Jack Point
Judges outside MC1 - Judge Inspector Aiko Inaba
Citizens - America Jara (could also fit nicely into Rebels)
Rebels - Purity Brown
Sports stars - Jacob Sardini
Strontium Dogs - Wulf Sternhammer
Robots / Cyborgs - Captain Bug Stomper
Killers - Adam Cadman
Historical - Ampney Crucis
Aliens and beasts - Feek the Freek
Criminals - Spikes Harvey Rotten
Police / Agents - Mallory Hope (does PI count as an agent?)
Magicians / Superpowered - The Zaucer Of Zilk, Luke Kirby
The Rest 2 - Preacher Cain

Another suggestion for renaming one of the Misc categories; Private Investigators. Sam Slade and DeMarco would be obvious candidates from the existing nominations and my vote for Mallory would move him to that category if it existed.

And now Russian well drilling spam - I guess it makes a change from hot teens (e.t.c.). Seems like a rather niche service to spam though. I'm guessing that stack of links may be unwholesome and nothing to do with Well Drilling, I''m certainly not gonna click em to find out.

2 Misc categories feels a little much - would this work:

Magical / Superpowered
Zenith
Nemesis
Luke Kirby
The Zaucer Of Zilk

Pushing Ace Garp down into the other Misc or Travellers or Aliens, he'd fit into any of those.

Still mulling over other nominations to see if I can get a full set.

Downlode Tales is before my return so I am not familiar with the series, you can just as well then vote for Sinister Dexter.

Yep fair. I suspect that's what most would do anyway so I don't think this is actually going to have any real impact on the vote.

Should Downlode Tales be considered part of Sinister Dexter rather than a separate thing?
Similarly isn't The Dead Man effectively a Dredd strip but with a different banner stuck on it?

Although I suspect these semantics aren't really going to have a major impact on the vote.

It's sooooo good.  Can't wait to get the last one and then commence a full re-read from start to finish.

This might just be the point where I jump onto this thrill train. The floppies from this run do some nice filling in around stuff the Ultimate Collection; some of the pre-Abnett Durham Red tales, Finn, American Gothic, Harry Kipling, some extra SinDex (although I guess some of that might get duped in the upcoming volume). Looks like there's a bunch of Dredd that's not in the Mega Collection too.

Yeah I think I've just talked myself into this one.

Yeah I have to admit part of my thought process was at this price I can always recoup my money if I can't stand the recolouring - so I guess that makes 2 of us Colin. Although I'm not sure that's quite the same as flipping where people are buying things at a discount and/or from limited runs purely with the intent of selling them on at a profit later.

Well I finally got around to finishing Carthago. It ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger with a big reveal about one of the characters and an "End Of First Cycle". Can't say it was a complete surprise as it was foreshadowed over the preceding couple of episodes but it's taking the tale in a new direction that certainly wasn't obvious right back at the start. Being critical it gets a little convoluted at times jumping around it's various threads but it's been enjoyable stuff. I can see myself tracking down the continuation when it eventually lands (from the Humanoids site it looks like it was scheduled for April so I'm guessing it's been delayed). Not sure if I'll get those in digital or track down the trade - kinda depends on the price and space on bookcases (which is becoming a seriously limiting factor).

The main thing I discovered from this tournament is just how highly I rate Summer Magic!

I grabbed Andy's copy of Summer Magic in his big clearout (see Classifieds thread) largely on the strength of the love it was shown during those votes. It's clearly rated very highly by many boarders so I felt I owed it to myself to go and check it out (especially at a bargin 2nd hand price).

These competitions have been a great source of discussion and have already highlighted a few strips I need to track down - thanks for your work organising this Colin.
