Finally got around to finishing this one!!

Not a fan of The Order , (has never really clicked with me) but everything else was fine

My Top 3 for Prog 2262

1st - Proteus Vex - well done by Carroll, Lynch, Boswell, and Boland. Liked how the action was being described on the Citheronian Homeworld and shown in the panels with Proteus Vex doing his thing. I like the design of the Imperium spacecraft on page 1 too

2nd -Dexter - liked it . Well done and its a Christmas tale too lol

3rd - Kingmaker - like Proteus Vex, good to have this one back

After looking up my Top 3 posts for each prog this year, doing a quick spreadsheet, and allocating 3,2,1 pts, etc, my results are in:

1st. The Out - 27 pts
2nd. Thistlebone - 21 pts
3rd. Proteus Vex - 18 pts

Scarlet Traces unlucky to miss out on 17 pts

Plenty to enjoy amongst this year's thrills with Durham Red, Dept K, and Aquila as well amongst others

My Top 3 for Meg 439

1st - Lawless - political machinations aplenty

2nd - Surfer - Wagner and MacNeil

3rd - Death Cap - Cook on fire with colours and widescreen panels.

Enjoyed the Lenny Zero text story and the collection of Christmas-themed thrills too.
Juvie Jovis story was excellent.

My Top 3 for Prog 2261

1st - The Out - Wow, what an episode. Norton Canes sums it up beautifully for me below. Page turn made me gasp, and I want to see what happens next issue now. Excellent use of sound effects lettering for both the violent actions and the other characters reactions.

Finally The Out, which is just utterly, absolutely devastating. Because the truth is most of the time war isn't about heroic hand-to-hand combat, or duelling spaceships - it's about wiping out as many people as possible from a safe distance. Stunning work from Mark Harrison on the centrefold pages, with the masterfully crafted sound effect lettering, and on that breathtaking full page panel. Hands down the best single instalment of a strip this year.

2nd - Dredd - Good finish to the musical for me. Nepotism, Walter, Sir Laurence

3rd - Scarlet Traces - Peace in our time?

My Top 3 for Prog 2260

1st - The Out - On the run from some serious enemies

2nd - Scarlet Traces - the colours by D'Israeli again and what's gonna happen next week

3rd - Dexter - Also on the run but add fights with dinosaurs

My Top 3 for Prog 2259

1st - The Out - very emotional episode for Cyd. Imaginative work by Abnett and Harrison with the Up, and then some danger on the way to close out this episode. Really well done

2nd - Scarlet Traces - Negotiations taking place with a gorgeous colour palette by D'Israeli

3rd - Dredd - 'Judge Kisser" LP lol. Love all the posters in the background and need to see more Chris Weston vehicles based on panel one.

My Top 3 for Prog 2258

Solid prog and like last week all thrills ok with no shockers, maybe Scarlet Traces as the MVP

1st - Scarlet Traces - Great use of colour by D'Israeli

2nd - Dexter - a bit wordy but I don't mind Dexter although I thought the 'stuck in a simulation in planes' a few series ago was not so good

3rd - The Out - setup for big finale
